As you will have seen from previous blog posts and photos on social media, I joined BNI Quantum last year. This has been a really good business decision for me and something I am very pleased to have done. So I think you should come and try BNI.

However, while talking to friends and business contacts about coming to BNI to meet some awesome people in business, I have been met with some funny comments and questions.

To be honest, I get it! I have been to BNI a few times over the last 6 years and avoided it like the plague. It was something that just didn’t fit with me, my personality or my business. For some reason I just could not get my head round it.

I was invited again in November last year and thought I would come along, maybe meet some new people. I loved the group on that day and couldn’t wait to join.

BNI is one of the longest running and most established networking groups in the world. It works and there has to be a reason for that. There are businesses that have been members for multiple years. They wouldn’t keep paying for the group if it didn’t work for them and their business.

There are so many rumours and things said about BNI. Some of these are true and some really aren’t. It is a professional group and there are accountability rules in place. But again, they are there for a reason. They are there to make the group work.

On Thursday 19th March we are having a Visitor Day at BNI Quantum and I think you should come and try BNI. As the famous Dr Pepper advert says; what’s the worst that can happen?

If you’d like to come along as my guest one week, or you fancy meeting a room full of like-minded people at the Visitor Day in March please drop me a line. It’s only £10 and that includes breakfast, a brilliant 10 minute presentation, a chance to meet lots of like-minded people in business and a 60 second pitch to the room to present your business.

So what are you waiting for? Come and try BNI!
