As you may know now from posts across social media pages and previous blog posts, I am on the committee for Peterborough SportsAid and Peterborough Sports Club Lunch. I would like to share the details of our next event and perhaps you would like to attend and join me?
Firstly I would like to tell you about Peterborough SportsAid and the Peterborough Sports Club Lunch. We organise and run our Peterborough Sports Club Lunch four times a year. At each event we welcome a well-known sports personality to attend the event.
Attendees will enjoy a two course lunch, drinks and networking before hearing from the sports personality for around 30 minutes. Our next Peterborough Sports Club Lunch is on Friday 12th July and we will be welcoming Derek Redmond.
Derek Redmond is a gold medallist. He is a former British 400m record holder and was also part of the 4x 400m relay team along with teammates Roger Black, Kriss Akabusi and John Regis. Following the end of Derek Redmond’s athletic career he went on to play basketball for England and rugby 7’s. He was also the winner of the Celebrity Gladiators 1994.
Based on this information alone you know he will have a fascinating story to tell us all.
Creative Content Company has a table for 10 people booked at this event. You are welcome to join us on this table for £30 per person. Alternatively separate tickets are £25 each, or £300 for your own table of ten.
The money raised at our Peterborough Sports Club Lunches goes to local talented children in sports to go towards their sponsorship needs. This money could pay for travel, accommodation, sports equipment, uniform and more.
