Our Festive Social Media Strategy Ideas

Make Sharing Easy

When people view your website, they will see things that they like. It’s your job to make it easier for them to show these to others. This could be things they like that they want to share with their partner to get them for Christmas. It could also be present ideas for Dad that they want to share with the family. Make sure it’s easy to share the items on your website on social media sites, via WhatsApp and by email too.

Use Happy Elves

Make sure that your elves (employees) are happy so they can make your customers happy. You also need to ensure that your elves are on social media responding to customers quickly too. Research shows that complaining customers expect a response within 60 minutes. Ensure your team know how to respond to complaints and how to deal with them professionally.

Keep It Nice

Yes, we are currently going through a pandemic and things are tough. However, people want to look forward to Christmas and happier times. Get excited and encourage your audience to be happy too. Think carefully about what you are putting online and how it could be seen by others. Jokes are a great idea, but you need to ensure they don’t offend anyone.

Be Thankful

Customers appreciate that this has been a tough year for small businesses. This is one of the reasons they have chosen to purchase form you. Use this as an opportunity to further build those relationships. Make sure you are thankful online for those that have supported you. Also take the time to send a card or email that thanks them for their custom. This could be a note in their package, a comment in an email, or a note on the invoice.
