Each year we take all of our clients to watch the polo in Cambridge. It’s a corporate polo day and our way of saying thank-you to all of our clients that have worked with us over the last year. Sadly, last year’s corporate polo day was cancelled. This year it was all set to go ahead, and then cancelled at late notice. We tried to change our corporate polo day to a client family day, but this fell on a weekend and it didn’t work date wise for a lot of our clients.

This left us with one option. We turned our corporate polo day into an employee family day. This worked really well. Sarah is the most recent person to join the Creative Content Company team. She joined us at the beginning of March 2020. This was our first chance for all of us to go out as not just a tea, but with our families too.

Dan is our Corporate Event Support; he is also my partner. I am Hazel the Founder and Owner of the business. Dan’s kids weren’t able to come as they had other plans in place. The other people close to Hazel’s heart are her Auntie Angel and Uncle Tony – that’s right, Angela the Accounts Support is Hazel’s aunt.

Sarah is our Admin and Marketing Support. She came with her husband Mark, her 2 children Oliver and Sophie. Her parents Lesley and Graham came, as did her in-laws Sharon and David. It was lovely for the families to see each other after such a long time apart. Hazel has known Sarah for over 20 years, so her family are very good friends of Hazel’s too.

Finally, Angela came. She is our Accounts Support. She came with her husband Tony and 3 of her 5 grandchildren, Imogen, Eleanor and Cameron. Of course, we couldn’t forget Lester their dalmatian who came too.

The corporate polo day turned employee family polo day was a really lovely event. The sun shone brightly for us and everyone has a great time. We had a delicious selection of picnic food and a really lovely, good quality, family time.

Here at Creative Content Company, we know we are nothing without our clients. However, we are also nothing without our team. On top of this, our team are nothing without the love and support of our families.

While we hope we can do the Corporate Polo Day again next year for our clients, we will definitely be looking at more employee family days too!
