We have recently been working with a few clients that are extremely active on Facebook for their business. But not on their Facebook business page. In this blog post, we look at why you need to post on your Facebook business page and not just community groups.
However, first, we would like to add that we explain why businesses only post on community pages. A business post is seen by between 1% and 3% of your followers. However, when you post in a community or local group on Facebook, your business could be seen by so many more people. It might also be more likely to lead to a customer, client or sale too.
So, why are we encouraging you to post on your Facebook business page and not just community groups? This is because of what happens when you are tagged. For example, if someone asks in a community group or on their personal page for the business you run or services you offer, someone you know will tag you. What happens when you are tagged? The original poster (OP) will follow the link to your business page.
If you don’t post on your Facebook business page but only community groups instead, what will they see? They will see a business that doesn’t post. Could that mean that you’re not in business, have gone out of business or are a scam? That’s the red flags that your target audience could see what you don’t post.
This is why we offer a Facebook Management service. We can post 1-2 times a week on your Facebook business page. This will keep you active online. It will also boost the SEO of your business online too. When people are recommended or referred to your business page, they will see what you do. This is what can help a referral lead to a sale for your business. This service is available for just £50 a month, or £75 if you would like 3-4 posts a week. You can then share these posts to local community pages and groups, to further boost your brand awareness.
