I am in the process of considering relaunching Creative Networking. It was and is networking that has grown my business and made it what it is today. When I first started my own business nearly 9 years ago, I couldn’t afford high networking membership costs and meeting fees. So, I decided to start my own. They were a really good opportunity for like-minded people in business to meet and build relationships.
So, fast forward a few years and I am looking at starting Creative Networking again. But it has left me asking myself, what do you want from business networking?
For me, the networking at the beginning was great for support, friendship. It helped with growing the business and grand awareness too. I enjoyed being able to support new and small businesses on their networking journey. That’s why I think I want to start the group again. But I want it to be a success.
So, I want to ask you, dear reader – what do you want from business networking?
Are you looking for a formal or an informal networking event?
Do breakfast, lunch or dinner events work better for you? Or perhaps you would prefer something in-between? Maybe a coffee morning or afternoon tea for example?
When networking, do you want to meet for a coffee informally? Or would you prefer more of a structure to it? Maybe you’d like a chance to present to the room? Do you like to be held accountable?
Would you like a networking event with guest speakers? Perhaps you would like to be a guest speaker at an event? Maybe your business is looking for events to sponsor where you can speak at them too?
There are so many different networking options out there. I have an idea what I want from business networking, but I want to make sure it works for others too. So, what do you want from business networking in Peterborough?
