  • 23% of marketers felt that the biggest benefit of email marketing was the generation of more leads
  • 19% of marketers felt that the biggest benefit of email marketing was the improvement in their sales figures
  • 17% of marketers felt that the biggest benefit of email marketing was the improvement in their conversion rates
  • 13% of marketers felt that the biggest benefit of email marketing was the reduction in their overall marketing costs
  • 12% of marketers felt that the biggest benefit of email marketing was that it allowed them to indentify better quality leads
  • 9% of marketers felt that the biggest benefit of email marketing was that is enables them to integrate with other media to boost the response
  • 3% of the marketers felt that the biggest benefit of email marketing was that is resulted in shorter sales cycles

And if you’re wondering where the other / missing 5% of marketers went? They ticked ‘other’.
