A professor had a new class of students studying marketing. He wanted to explain the world of marketing to his class and decided that this was the best way. Below we have given to you the way that the professor explained the world of marketing to his students;

Direct Marketing:

You see a gorgeous girl at a party. So, you go over to her and say that you are rich and tell her she should marry you. That’s direct marketing.

Advertising:

You go to a party with a friend. Your friend goes over to a girl and points at you. He then tells the girl that you are very rich and she should marry you. That’s known as advertising.

Brand Recognition:

You go to a party and a girl walks up to you. She tells you that you are rich and asks you to marry her. This is brand recognition.

Customer Feedback:

You go to a party and see a pretty lady. Feeling brave, you go up to her and tell her that you are very rich and she should marry you. In return to this statement, she slaps you. This is called customer feedback.

Demand and Supply Gap:

You go to a party and see a pretty lady. On walking over to her you tell her that you are very rich and that she should marry you. In response to this she introduces you to her husband. This is finding a demand and supply gap.

Restriction from Entering a New Market:

You go to a party and see a pretty lady. Before you get the chance to tell her that you are rich and she should marry you, your wife arrives at your side. This is known as a restriction from entering a new market.
