With my Talentino hat on I would like to offer an invite to you all – to attend the Supported Internship Employers Breakfast at Peterborough Regional College on Thursday 26th April from 10am until 12noon.

We had a wonderful mentor called Craig who mentored their special needs students for the 8 week mentor program and now we are looking at other ways we can help the college and special needs students at the college.

The details are as follows;

We are hosting an Employer’s Breakfast Event on Thursday the 26th of April from 10:00 – 12:00 to promote our programme to local businesses. We have invited a few speakers from across the country to also share their successes and discuss the benefits of the programme. It will take place on site at Peterborough Regional College and food and refreshments will be provided.

You can book onto the employer’s event here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/prcs-supported-internship-employer-breakfast-tickets-42626093794

If you could RSVP that would be great as it will give me a good idea of how many people to expect on the day for parking and catering.

At the moment we have speakers coming from Milton Keynes College, City College Norwich, National Grid, and Westcombe Engineering. They will be talking about their successes and the benefits of the programme to employers.

We will also run a workshop to address any concerns that employers have and how we can overcome these. If you would like to meet beforehand to hear more about the programme we would be more than happy to do that. If not – hopefully we will see you and/or your colleagues in April!

If you would like to come please ensure you book in advance and if you have any questions please let me know and I will be happy to pass these on for you.

As always, if you would like to know more about Talentino, mentoring special needs students in schools and colleges or the mentoring program for your own students, school or college please do not hesitate to contact me – I will be more than happy to help you in any way I can.
