So, let’s break the email down and explain why it is likely to be a spam email. Look at who it is addressed too. That is our website address. It is likely the sender used software to collect website addresses and there was not a real person checking the website, who to contact and if they could actually help. How can you claim to improve traffic if you haven’t looked at the website?
I looked at the address that the “White Hat SEO With Guaranteed Results” email came from. I copied and pasted the end of the email (the part after @) and the business doesn’t exist as a website. How can a company claim to boost your SEO for your website, when they have no website themselves?
It is impossible to guarantee your results with white hat SEO. It is possible with black hat (the naughty type) but your website will get penalised when Google see it. SEO is a slow process.
It takes time because the ‘Google robots’ check our website continuously and sporadically to make sure it is SEO friendly. For example, we could write you a blog post. It will be SEO friendly and engaging.
However, it might not rank on Google for 3-6 months. SEO doesn’t just happen over night and there is no guarantee you’ll ever hit page one – unless you are using paid ads!
Look out for this spam email and any like it. If you get any that you’re not sure about, call our team. We can talk through it with you and do some research. We can also share it in an blog post like this to warn and protect others.
