Should You Post On Your Socials On Bank Holidays?

In April and May there are a lot of bank holidays. If your business is closed on bank holidays you may be wondering if you should still post on these days. It’s a question that a lot of business owners are asking themselves. If they post, will people respond and then who will reply? Will customers think they are open because they are posting on bank holidays? Who will post on the bank holiday if everyone is off? What happens if you don’t post?

There is no right or wrong answer to if you should post on your socials on bank holidays. It’s really what works for you and your business. If you post a couple of times a week sporadically then there is no need to post on a bank holiday. However, if you are a consistent and regular poster on social media then it’s recommended that you do post on your socials on bank holidays. Post the times and days you are open before and after the bank holiday instead of saying ‘open as normal’. This will remind your target audience of when you are open, which may be different from the hours they thought.
