As lockdown looks to continue for the next few months at least, the team here at Creative Content Company have decided to run some virtual events to raise money for local charities. We have 4 virtual bingo sessions booked in for 4 local charities.

One charity is The Garden House which is part of Light Project Peterborough and The Winter Night Shelter. Little Miracles in Peterborough is another of our chosen charities, as is The National Literacy Trust with Peterborough Reads. The final of our four chosen charities is Care Network Cambridgeshire. We previously ran this event for them at the beginning of lockdown last year and managed to raise over £350!

These virtual bingo sessions are open for anyone to attend. You just need to pay £5 per person. This will get you 2 bingo strips for 2 rounds of bingo. You can play bingo online, via a link, or you can print off your tickets and mark the numbers off yourself. The bingo will be called by Hazel of Creative Content Company via Zoom.

There are real cash prizes! If you get one line you will win £5. However, if you get a full house you will win £10 or a £25 amazon voucher. The rest of the money paid will go directly to the charity. We can have up to 50 people playing the bingo virtually via Zoom. This means we could raise a lot of money for these very worthwhile causes.

Here at Creative Content Company we have purchased the bingo tickets and the enhanced Zoom. We are also donating our time and marketing for the events. This means that the profits can go to the charity, thus more money for great causes.

We also have other ways in which we can raise money for these brilliant charities.

For example, a company can sponsor the virtual bingo event for £50. By sponsoring the event the name of the business will be shared in a blog post, the charity will thank you on their social media and all communication about bingo will include the details of the business. You will be publicly thanked at the event too.

Another option is for businesses to donate the £25 Amazon Voucher which will be given as the prize for a full house. This means the £10 cash prize can then go to the charity and be replaced by a larger prize. As the business donating this, your name will be mentioned when the prize is given, and you will be mentioned in social media and on a blog post too.

Each bingo session will take place on the last Friday of the month, starting from January. Events are currently planned until April.
