You may have seen, unless you are living under a rock, that the Peterborough Small Business Awards are open.
However, you may now be wondering while we are telling you to get nominating? There are a few reasons for this and I thought I would put it in a blog post because I want you to get nominating!
So, Creative Content Company were lucky enough to win Peterborough Small Business of the Year 2018. I cannot tell you what this meant for us. Finding out that we were finalists was a massive deal. Going on to win was out of this world!
When you run your own business there can be a lot of self-doubt. You don’t know if you’re doing it right or wrong. All small knock-backs can feel huge and you can feel very alone. Receiving an email saying that someone thinks you or your business is worthy of an award, is quite something!
It makes you feel like you have been recognised and noticed. You suddenly feel that all your hard work is being seen and it was all worth it. Receiving a testimonial from a happy client is great. Times that feeling by ten and you have what it feels like to be a finalist for a business award.
Why would you not want a fellow business owner to feel that way?
Here at Creative Content Company we are challenging ourselves to nominate 10 awesome businesses in Peterborough for the Peterborough Small Business Awards. The real challenge is going to be stopping at 10 if we are honest. There are so many incredible businesses and business owners out there!
We would like to challenge you to nominate just 3 (as a minimum) awesome businesses or business owners that you know. Peterborough Small Business Awards are open; let’s spread that happy feeling of being awesome in business. Even if the person you nominate just makes finalist they will still feel incredible – and you will have helped them feel that way.
