I am very pleased to announce that we are Peterborough Regional PR and Media Award finalists 2019. We are delighted to have been selected for the shortlist in the Community Contribution of the Year for the Peterborough Regional PR and Media Award. The winners of these categories and awards will be announced at Peterborough Cathedral on 4th December.

The competition for this award category is very tough. Some of the other people in business that have also made the shortlist are clients, friends and business people I know well. I think this is wonderful because it means I can be genuinely happy for them if they win the award.

For example, Edward Smith of the Peterborough Biscuit is a fantastic friend of mine. We have worked with his business in the past and are the blogging partner for their 2020 event.  The Peterborough Biscuit has achieved amazing things for the community over the years. It’s an honour to be recognised in a category with them.

Another shortlisted business is Peterborough City Council and the Safer off the Streets Campaign. This campaign supports the amazing work that Light Project Peterborough and the Winter Night Shelter does. As you will have seen by my social media updates, this is a charity and project close to my heart. Again, it is an honour to have been recognised in a category alongside them.

The amazing team at Youth Inspired PCVS have also been recognised in this category. I was asked to run a social media training session for these awesome people. The work they do is amazing and I am really impressed by them, their energy, dedication and care. They are another strong contender for the award and incredible people to be recognised with.

Susan Broccoli of We Love Peterborough is another of the 9 finalists for this award. We Love Peterborough is really well known in the local area. I have worked with Susan before on previous projects and she definitely has a strong heart for Peterborough.

Congratulations to all the finalists. I look forward to seeing all those I know and meeting all those I don’t at the Peterborough Regional PR and Media Award ceremony on Wednesday 4th December.
