As you may know from previous blog posts, I am the Chairperson of Parnwell Residents Association and on the 2nd December 2017, I am running my first ever Christmas Fayre; with the support of Parnwell Hub and I am on the lookout for stall holders for our Christmas Shopping area – and raffle prizes too!
For those that don’t know Parnwell, it has been classed as the most ‘dis-connected’ place by Peterborough City Council and this does not sit well with me – especially as this is where I live!
In Parnwell we have the Community Centre and metres away we have Club Caliente – on Saturday 2nd December we have our first Christmas Fayre and we will have free children’s crafts and a trip to meet a special guest (ho ho ho) and some some fun stalls and tombola too at the Community Centre
Across the way in Club Caliente we will have Christmas Shopping where there will be an array of stalls of crafts, gifts and goodies you can purchase for others (or treat yourself).
Parnwell is a wonderful village in Peterborough and we hope that events like this will put the community back in Parnwell again; please can you help us do this by coming along to the event, having a stall or donating a raffle prize?
I am also looking for ‘outdoor things’; we are hoping to have Peter Burrow join us for a Shoot Out / Beat The Goalie, but would love any other entertainers to join us for this event, to attract people to the fayres in both venues and to spread that feel-good community feel in Parnwell.
If you would like to know more please email me; [email protected] – help me put the community back in Parnwell.
