Well, if you are based in Stamford, then you’ll be pleased to hear that our digital marketers can be found in Stamford too. We went to Grantham to exhibit at the Grantham Business Showcase Networking event. This event has now moved onto its next location in Stamford, and our digital marketers can be found exhibiting there too.
Stamford’s Business Showcase Networking is an event we attended before the scary days of covid when the world got turned upside down. This next event is taking place on Thursday 19th October between 10am and 12noon. It is taking place at Stamford Endowed Schools where our digital marketers attended before. It’s also the place where Hazel got lost and ended up with a parking ticket – but we won’t talk about that sore point!!
The Stamford Business Showcase Networking is different to traditional business networking events. It is only open to exhibitors. This means that all exhibitors arrive on the day and set out their stand. There is no start time when visitors arrive. The visitors are the other businesses that are exhibiting. This means that you can mix and mingle, check out the other stands and talk to other businesses. All the while, potential customers are visiting your stand.
It’s promoted as a unique concept that crosses between networking and exhibiting. It is a low-cost event too, with a low maintenance need. It’s also accessible and open to all businesses of different ages, shapes and sizes.
Our digital marketers have been attending the showcase networking events, like this one in Stamford, for many years. They first began back in 2017 in Cambridgeshire. Since then their organization has had a name change and some new venues have been introduced too. It’s a fun networking and business showcasing journey we are very excited to be part of.
