We’ve mentioned before that when Creative Content Company started, nearly 2 years ago now, funds were low but we understood networking was a really good way of getting our brand out there and enticing new clients – so we looking for free or cheap networking in events in Peterborough when we came across Link 4 Growth.
Link 4 Growth is a nationwide networking group, they have networking events that you can attend free of charge but you can also pay £3 a month for membership which opens you to lots more advantages and added bonuses such as free advertising on the Link 4 Growth website, a name badge and a reduction on training sessions.
The main Link 4 Growth events that I attend are Link 4 Coffee and Link 4 Drinks, which are run throughout the month at various venues and well worth popping along to, to see businesses in your local area are up to.
The Link 4 Coffee events are in the mornings from around 9.30am-11am at Ferry Meadows Water Sports Cafe or at the Ramblewood Inn, in the bar area. The one at Ramblewood is a couple of pounds then you can have unlimited tea and coffee, where as Ferry Meadows is completely free and you can just buy yourself a beverage. If you have attended the Creative Networking Coffee Morning, you’ll find it’s the same layout. The Link 4 Coffee morning s are on Wednesdays and while I try to go as much as possible, sometimes the dates collide with my teaching in prison as I’m there every other week.
The Link 4 Drinks are the same as Link 4 Coffee but they are in the pub, I often go to Link 4 Drinks once a month at the Paul Pry, again it’s completely free of charge you just buy a drink or food if you want. It’s a Brewers Fayre / Whitbread venue so cheap and cheerful but you know what you’re getting.
