We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Hazel is a National Women’s Business Award finalist. We received an email recently to say that the lovely Jyoti had nominated her for the ‘Business Hero’ category.

Having looked into the award we are blown away. The category is open to a business or business owner that has gone above and beyond in the face of aversity. Someone that has supported a local and national cause, making an impact in their local community.

What an amazing award to have been nominated for. We have definitely dropped the number of things we do in the local community during lockdown, as things have been tough. That said, we have two charity clients that we charge preferential rates for. We have run four virtual bingo fundraising events that have raised well over £1000 too.

While we haven’t been able to be ‘as involved’ in Light Project Peterborough and the Winter Night Shelter, we are still on the committee. This has involved lots of meetings planning how the night shelter would work through lockdown and what could be done to help those in need.

Hazel has also signed up to support Skills Service with three mock interview days with local schools in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. These will take place over the next three months.

The lovely lady that nominated Hazel is Jyoti. Jyoti and Hazel have known each other for some time now. This is what Jyoti had to say after nominating Hazel as a National Women’s Business Award Finalist:

Well done Hazel Cottrell. You are always so helpful and great guest expert in Social media training.

Jotty’s Online Workshop (not for profit social enterprise) have appreciated your support throughout the years! You have supported many in the community through your kindness.

We wish you the best of luck for National Business Women’s Award 2021 and keeping our fingers crossed for you!”

If you would like to vote for Hazel in the public vote that is now open, please click here. You will see “Hazel Cottrell – Creative Content Company” listed with the other National Women’s Business Award Finalists.

The National Women’s Business Award finalists will find out who the winner is on 29th October 2021. So until then, we are just keeping our fingers crossed and asking anyone that thinks Hazel could be a worthy winner to please vote for her.
