Never in over 11 years of business have you seen a begging blog from Creative Content Company, but here we are. You will have seen from our socials that this day was coming. I have been locked up for EACH. My crime? Prolific selfie frame usage. I now need to raise £1,000 ‘bail’ money to be released.
I’m spending today supporting East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices through their Jail or Bail campaign. If you’re not familiar with the work the charity does, do please follow this link and have a read.
My goal is to raise £1,000 through my ‘bail’. This will help contribute to the £7.5 million EACH has to raise this year through voluntary donations and fundraising activities. You can donate via my JustGiving page which opened at just 10am on the day of my arrest, Thursday 27th February. It can be found here; https://www.justgiving.com/page/hazel-andrews-oxlade-
Apart from supporting an incredible charity, what’s in it for you?
Every person or business that donates will be thanked on my socials. Make sure you leave your details on donation so I can give you a worthy shout-out. Yes, I will be sneaking my mobile phone in. This means that I can keep an eye on the bail and donations with hope of getting released.
I’ve Been Locked Up For EACH and while £1,000 may seem like a lot of money (which it really is in this current economic climate) this money can help the charity so much.
A donation of £18 could pay for 10 hand and footprint kits. These are used by the families EACH supports to help make precious memories they can keep forever.
A generous donation of £23 could pay for a large painting canvas that is used by children and their families for art therapy. Just £3 more, making a £26 donation could pay a clinical nurse specialist for an hour. They will be able to deliver expert nursing and symptom management care to a child or young person.
Meanwhile, £44 could pay a band 6 nurse for two hours to provide expert nursing care to children and young people, including at end of life. For £1 more, a donation of £45 could pay for 100 feeding bottles. These are used to care for the children supported by the charity that are tube-fed.
And a whopping £88 could pay a counsellor for four hours to provide specialist support. They will support bereaved family members, helping them cope during the more difficult times.
These are just some of the examples of what my bail could pay for, so please donate whatever you can. Remember, every little counts, so a well-known supermarket tells us.
And please, help me get out of jail and free from being locked up for EACH… I really don’t suit the prison tracksuit!
