After 39 years on this planet, and 11 years in business – it could be coming to an end. Hazel is due to be arrested on Thursday 27th February in Milton, Cambridge. The crimes she is due to be arrested for is prolific photo taking with her selfie screen and sharing them online, even the bad ones of others, but never herself. Some of the victims of this crime says that Hazel being arrested hasn’t come soon enough… what do you think?
Now to get slightly more serious before mass panic happens.
Hazel is being arrested in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices; EACH. She will be arrested by a real police officer and be put in the back of a van. Hazel will then need to raise £1,000 bail to be released. Money can only be raised on the day, so please keep your eyes peeled as details will be shared on the day of release.
Sam from East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices has been a regular attendee and supporter of Hazel and her networking events. She asked if we would be willing to help raise funds for the amazing charity. A lesson we have since learnt is to ask how, before saying yes!
That said, it’s a worthy cause and I’m confident my connections will help me reach bail on the day – hopefully!
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices are there to support families each and every step of the way. They ensure the best possible quality of life for the children they help. The EACH team make sure that every moment counts for the child and their family.
Last year the charity provided care to 532 children and young people. However, a public health needs assessment predicted that this would increase to around 600 by 2025. This is why Hazel is being arrested and why she, and EACH desperately need your help.
Will Hazel learn from this arrest for her crime? Probably not – buy hey, she will have a story to tell and you will have helped children and their families in the local area make things that little bit nicer and easier.
