Here at Creative Content Company, we have now been running our Business Networking Celebrates events for almost one year. Based on this, we felt it was time to take stock. The business networking celebrates events were created to help the local community. They were designed to be welcoming and informal.
We wanted an event that focused on relationship building instead of just sales sales sales. So, what did our attendees think of our most recent Business Networking Celebrates National Bathroom Reading Month?
“Despite the heat, this quirky networking event at PPM Interiors was a real hit! The bathroom and kitchen showroom made a fun and fitting venue for celebrating National Bathroom Reading Month. The attendees were, as always, friendly, conversations flowed easily, and the unique theme sparked plenty of laughs. A great mix of business and light-hearted fun, looking forward to the next one!” Peter Lewsey – Capella Computer Systems
“As someone who is not normally big on networking, I recently attended this event organised by Hazel at Creative content Company and I’m really glad I did. It was a really relaxed event on a Friday afternoon and was great to meet up with numerous other local businesses where we could start off with a general chat and then the actual networking event started where we all got the chance to properly introduce ourselves to the room and give a basic overview of our companies. We then went on to talk about the theme of the event where everybody recommended their favourite books to read and I came away with a number of books to add to my reading list! A light snack buffet and drinks were provided, so all in all it was a fantastic event and I have now booked on to the next one. (and somehow agreed to host another event later on!)” Mark – Hereward Carpets
“We really enjoyed the unique feel of the event. It was a great opportunity to visit and show our support for a local business, connect with other professionals in the community, and enjoy a more relaxed, fun approach to networking. We’re already looking forward to the next one!” Megan – Coulter Elite
“I really enjoyed Hazel’s recent event. I love that there’s always a theme which makes them fun and different to normal networking. They’re relaxed, there’s always refreshments and because they’re hosted by another business, you get to know more about them too.” Laura Babb – CTS Coaching
“The event Hazel organised alongside Rob at PPM Care was brilliant. I loved the idea of a theme for the meeting which acted as super icebreaker, meaning anyone with any nerves was put at ease, and the fact I met some like-minded local business owners and decision makers was fab. I’ll most definitely be attending Hazel’s future events!” Ash Parmenter – Currys Business
“I quite enjoyed the event, the fact that you had guests open up with their book recommendation made for immediately good and deep conversations! More broadly, the fact that all your events have a theme is great, because it immediately offers a conversation opener for those less confident networking.” Ernest Ibe – Mattioli Woods
If you like what our attendees have to say, why not come along to our next event? It’s Business Networking Celebrates Family Golf Month. This event takes place at Glo Golf in Peterborough on Thursday 10th July between 3pm and 5pm.
