As per our previous blog you will know we were very happy to have been shortlisted for the DevelopHER Inspiration Award 2017 and we would like to invite you to join us to (hopefully) celebrate at the event while being surrounded with other amazing ladies in business, well-known sponsors and more.

The event takes place on Wednesday 29th November 5.30pm-11pm at Cambridge Corn Exchange.

Here are some more details;

The DevelopHER Awards is an annual not for profit awards ceremony recognising women who work in the technology sector in East Anglia. In 2015 we ran a fantastic evening in Norwich with over 150 attendees, having had over 130 nominations across 11 categories. In 2016 we ran another successful evening in Ipswich with 225 attendees.

The awards were inspired by the team at Norwich based SyncDevelopHER, who run regular meet-ups hosting female role models speaking about their experiences in tech and encouraging more women to join their growing community.

SyncDevelopHER’s founder, Vickie Allen, is the force behind the awards and since East Anglia’s addition to the Tech Nation map, she is keen to build an East Anglian network, so this year the awards are being held in Cambridge at Cambridge Corn Exchange.

The DevelopHER awards aims to raise the profile of women in technology in East Anglia, creating role models to inspire the next generation to become developers, technicians, project managers, testers and digital experts.

Tickets are £30 each (plus a small admin fee) and can be booked here.

We hope you’ll be able to join us for this fabulous night and rub shoulders with other award finalists, their nominators and some well-known sponsors including Hayes, Coderus, CooperLomaz, Google and EposNow.

Last year there was a delicious buffet, chocolate fountain and candy floss all included in the ticket – plus a brilliant goodie bag full of fantastic treats and pens!
