I am thrilled to announce that I have been chosen as a finalist for the SME Cambridgeshire Awards in the category of Business Woman of the Year. This is massive deal for me, as a female business owner, but actually just for me as a person in general.

The award will be presented to the best female owned business or a female who has had a positive impact on a business. SME Cambridgeshire have said that the Business Woman of the Year will have shown how they have exceptional drive to succeed and that they have been a integral part to making their business, or previous businesses, succeed.

We are finalists along with some other incredible business women, some of which we know personally, some we have heard of and others we have no yet had the pleasure of meeting. The other finalists for Business Woman of the Year are as follows;

Gemma Yull of Citrus Rooms, Jo Bevilacqua of Serenity Loves and The Unique Mumpreneur, Kayleigh Bosworth of Busy Bee Recruitment Ltd, Lucy Argent of Argent’s Salons Limited, Natalie Benson of Espi Ltd and Vhari Russel of The Food Marketing Expert.

As you can see by the award criteria and the other finalists for this award; this is a tough competition. For example, Jo is a personal friend and inspiration to Creative Content Company. We network with her regularly, our services have been recommended by her and we have attended awards ceremonies with her. Previously we have been up for separate awards, but this time will be different as we are both up for Business Woman of the Year.

We have also come across Busy Bee Recruitment Ltd at networking events and on social media. We are very impressed with what they do and the message of their business. Meanwhile Citrus Rooms is somewhere we have heard amazing things about.

The awards ceremony isn’t for a few weeks yet and I couldn’t possible predict what might happen on the night. However, I can assure you’ll know what is going on every step of the way via our social media platforms. There will probably be a follow up blog so you can hear how we got on too.
