Looking for business networking in Peterborough with a difference? Then come along to our business networking celebrates National Bathroom Reading Month event in June. It’s completely free to attend and is a great way to meet likeminded people in business, while supporting the local business community.
Here at Creative Content Company, we are big on supporting the local business community. We have been established in Peterborough since 2013 and the local business community has always supported us. Now it’s our turn to give back. So, we are doing this with monthly small business networking groups in and around Peterborough.
Each month we change venue and date. The only things that stays the same is the formally informal format and the 3pm start time. It also takes places at new businesses or ventures that want the local community to know about them, or venues that support the local business community too.
In June is it National Bathroom Reading Month so we are off to a newly opened bathroom and kitchen showroom in Peterborough. It’s a small local business with all the backing to make them a huge success.
As with all our monthly events, the business, in this case PPM Interiors, is supplying their space for free. They are also offering free beverages and snacks. Attendees are welcome to come for free, but booking is essential.
The format for our events is simple. Attendees can arrive from 3pm to sign in, have a drink and network with other attendees. Around 3.30pm attendees have the opportunity to promote their business to the room for up to 60 seconds. Informal networking will take place after this time.
To celebrate this business networking event and National Bathroom Reading Month we are asking attendees to bring their favourite book. This could be a business or personal book. We will ask attendees to state why they like and recommend the book they have bought with them.
Photos will be taken throughout the event, and some video content too. This will then be used for social media posting and marketing. After the event an email will be sent out to all attendees with all attendees’ details included. This enables attendees to continue networking and relationship building after the event.
