You may have seen that we have been running a number of free business networking events in Peterborough. These are all free of charge and tie in with a national day, week, month or year. Financial Literacy Month falls in April, so we called upon our friend, and regular attendee, Raman from Metro Bank. He has kindly given us the space for free. In addition, Metro Bank are offering free hot beverages, pastries and a talk from an expert to all attendees too! These events are run by Creative Content Company to support the local business community. The venue or business offers their space for free. Meanwhile, Creative Content Company do the marketing for free. This means that people in business, no matter the size, age or business type, can attend and network for free.
Our events begin at 3pm for checking in and informal networking. At 3.30pm the event officially starts. This is where attendees have the chance to promote their business for up to 60 seconds. Attendees can then speak to others and network further.
Raman and his team at Metro Bank are kindly hosting this event for us. They will also be providing hot beverages and pastries for the event. In addition, and to celebrate Financial Literacy Month, an expert will be speaking on this topic, to help you become more financially literate.
While this is a free event, spaces are limited. Please make sure you book in advance. If you cannot attend, please let us know so someone else can have your space. We tend to have between 25 and 40 attendees at most of our events.
