This is a very exciting time for the team at Creative Content Company HQ, we have been asked if we can be in a documentary about Young Entrepreneurs and their background, what their business is and how they set it up along with the challenges they face as young entrepreneurs. We are thrilled to have been asked to be part of this documentary with other entrepreneurs across the UK.
An independent film maker will be coming to our office to interview Hazel, giving her chance to talk about where she came from, what got her into what she does, why she decided to start her own business and any advice she would give to others starting their own business as a young entrepreneur.
Hazel was just 28 years old when she started Creative Content Company, which is now 3 years old and as someone that had ever run her own business before it was definitely a steep learning curve and a real experience, yet something Hazel has never regretted and this is why she is excited to be part of a documentary that will encourage other young people to take the leap and try running their own business.
It’s true, running your own business isn’t easy and without wanting the world to feel sorry for me – thing are harder when you are younger and when you are female. I feel you have to try harder to get in the front door and you have to try harder to build relationships and gain new clients. Of course this is hard for all new businesses but for some reason men and older people do seem easy to trust, maybe they just look more trustworthy?
Anyhow, our interview for the documentary will be a great chance to show the world what we do, how we do it and the ‘why’ behind what we do. It will also be a chance to show young people that we are just like them, we are normal people too – yet when you put your mind to it you can achieve fabulous things!
