Creative Content Company exhibited at Peterborough Biscuit Business Event recently. The event is in its third year. The first year we went as visitors and this year and last year we had an exhibition stand. Last year this was the 2m by 2m stand. This year we upgraded to a 2m by 4m stand and we did not regret our decision.
The event was packed out with a total of 319 exhibitors. Businesses of all shapes and sizes. From companies as small as Creative Content Company right through to companies like Barclays Eagle Labs.
The doors opened at 9am. Just after an announcement from Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire City Council thanking all the businesses for their support with the event. She also took the time to praise the Peterborough Biscuit Business Event team for organising one of the largest business events in the country.
During the day we met lots of brilliant business owners. They came to our stand to find out more about what we do. We found lots of business owners didn’t know what blogging was and why they should be doing it. We took our time to explain exactly what a blog post was and how it could help their business.
Here at Creative Content Company we offer website content writing, blogging, social media training, newsletter creation. Also, we can manage clients social media accounts for them. This gave us loads to talk about with visitors to the event and to our stand.
We also had a chance to walk around the event and we met up with the Barclays Eagle Labs team. It was great to hear more about a company I had heard of, but never actually met. I couldn’t believe how much they could do for local business owners. Also how they really can help businesses in their local communities.
While we were there we popped our business card into the bowl, in hope of winning the Amazon Echo Dot. Of course, never thinking we would win it. 2 days after the event, while we were still wiping the biscuit crumbs from our lips. All while sifting through the business cards and leads from the day. Not to mention packing all the marketing materials away, we got a phone call. On the phone was Hugh from the Barclays Eagle Labs. He told us we had won the Amazon Echo Dot. What a great end to a very busy and exhausting week!
