The biggest sign this is a spam email is the email address it came from. It was from a ‘hotmail account’. His email address was his name, some numbers and ‘hotmail.com’. If you are a professional online business you will pay the extra (minimal) fee for a company email address.
I am unsure what an internet developer is? I presume an internet developer would be the person that created Google, Bing or Yahoo for example?
However he then goes on to explain that he will make your internet site more appealing. I presume he means website, which then changes the whole context. If the person doesn’t know the name for the job they do, they probably aren’t someone you want to work with!
Then you have the grasp of grammar. There are a few parts in there that are cause for concern. Such as; ‘simply leave me the high quality manner that I will talk with you’ for example. This is itself makes no sense. It looks like this is a Google translate type email as there are lots of other terms and wording that we would not use traditionally.
We haven’t even got started on the layout of the email, which shows a clear cut and paste. This is the actual layout of the email we received!
If you are unsure if you have been sent a spam email and want to know for sure, please forward the email to us and we will look into it for you. And don’t forget, our testimonials page is available for viewing, ‘in case you’re fascinated’?
